Datasets

Recordings of sustained contact.

Most manipulation datasets capture where the robot moved. Far fewer capture what happened while it was touching something — the forces, slips, deformations, and constraint changes that make up the interaction itself. That gap is the second pillar of Contact Intelligence, and closing it is a data problem before it is a modeling one.

What we are collecting

Data gathered on hardware built to expose contact, recorded continuously through the interaction rather than sampled at grasp and release. Released with the collection tooling and enough calibration detail to be reused outside our own setup.
